Some AVIO USB adapter customers may experience issues with the audio if there is an older Intel SST (Smart Sound Technology) OED driver installed on their Windows computers. This issue only affects AVIO customers who:
- are using AVIO USB-A or USB-C adapters.
- and have an older Intel SST OED driver (Windows) installed on the computer to which the AVIO USB adapter is connected.
The solution is to upgrade the Intel SST OED driver to the latest version. The suggested Intel SST OED driver version for Windows 10 is 10.29.0.9947 or above, and for Windows 11, please use version 10.29.0.10040 or higher.
Please contact your computer manufacturer to obtain the latest driver. Before making any changes to the hardware or hardware drivers, please back up your computer.
