The Dante Managed API has the following limitations.
Devices with legacy firmware (before Dante 4.0)
The API doesn't work with devices running in legacy mode, which means devices with Dante firmware earlier than version 4.0. From DDM 1.9, these devices can't be enrolled in DDM at all.
Most Dante devices can be updated to version 4.0 or later. Use Dante Updater, or contact your device manufacturer for a firmware update. See How to update your Dante devices.
Shared Audio Groups
The API doesn't recognise the virtual devices used in Shared Audio Groups.
AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110 flows
The API only works with native Dante flows. It can't manage channel subscriptions that use AES67 flows, including SMPTE ST 2110.
