Dante Director is a Software as a Service management tool which allows you to:
- Manage your Dante devices from anywhere (including, connecting Dante Controller remotely)
- Manage multiple Sites from one account
- Control user access over your configuration
- Keep audit logs of events and changes
- Route media between Dante devices on different network subnets (within a single Site)
- Control your configuration using the Managed Dante API
Dante Director comes in two versions; Standard and Pro. The Standard tier provides the core cloud-based management features such as remote monitoring and control, device grouping, security (authentication/encryption), event alerts, API access, subnet routing, and up to ~30 days of logging, making it suited to smaller or mid-sized networks. In contrast, Dante Director Professional builds on this with enterprise-focused capabilities: larger deployments, added advanced security (e.g., Single Sign-On), hierarchical site/room management, deeper integrations (webhooks), enhanced user roles, longer-term logging/analytics, and expanded support/onboarding services, all designed for large, distributed, multi-site AV environments requiring tighter control, scalability, and integration with IT workflows.
