Online purchases from the Dante Store are processed by our payment partner, FastSpring, which works out the tax based on your location. How you remove tax depends on the type of exemption you have.
I have a VAT ID (business purchase)
In supported countries, you can enter your company's VAT ID at checkout and VAT is removed if your order qualifies. See How do I enter a VAT ID at checkout?
I have a US sales tax exemption, or another tax exemption
US sales tax exemptions can't be entered at checkout. Instead, contact Fast Spring Consumer Support before you buy, and they can arrange a tax-exempt order. Include:
- The product(s), quantity and price
- Your full name and email address
- Your billing address, including zip or postal code
- A copy of your tax-exemption certificate (PDF or image)
For subscriptions, once your exemption certificate is on file, renewals of that subscription won't be charged tax.
I've already paid tax. Can I get it refunded?
If you're eligible, tax can be refunded within 90 days of purchase for orders paid by credit or debit card, PayPal or Amazon Payments. See How to request a Tax or VAT/GST refund.
