In a Windows multi-user environment, few older Dante Controller versions can crash with the message ‘Child process exited with code 1’
Affected Dante Controller versions are:
- 4.7.0.8, fixed in 4.7.0.8
- 4.8.1.2, fixed in 4.8.1.2
- 4.13.3.2,
- 4.14.0.17, both fixed in 4.14.1.2
If you are experiencing this issue, please ensure that the latest version of Dante Controller has been installed from the Software Downloads page.
If you continue to receive the error, delete the Interprocess folder. It will be recreated after restarting Dante Controller.
Interprocess older can be found under the following path: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Audinate
The general shortcut to the Interprocess folder is: %LocalAppData%\Audinate
