When connecting devices to DDM 1.9 using Dante Controller 4.18.0.11, even though you have domains created on DDM, you may see ‘No Domains Available – Cannot Enroll’ as the only available option in the ‘Assign to Domain’ drop-down list. At this time, the ‘Ok’ button is greyed out and cannot be clicked, preventing you from connecting any device to DDM1.9 using Dante Controller 4.18.0.11.
The issue is planned to be fixed in Dante Controller 4.18.1.
This issue only occurs with a specific combination of DDM (1.9) and Dante Controller (4.18.0.11) versions. For now (June 30, 2026), the workarounds are as follows:
- Enroll devices using an older version of Dante Controller (4.17 or earlier) or
- Use other discovery/enrolment methods in the DDM web interface.
